DIA Armor Die Cut Magnet
$7.95
Works of art in museums are very fragile, even those made of stone and metal. This is why visitors to the museum are asked not to touch the art.
At the DIA, however, there is one exception to this rule. The Donkey, by Renee Sintenis, is the only piece in the museum that can be touched. It was purchased in 1928 by DIA Director William Valentiner after he saw children playing with another cast of this Donkey in the Berlin zoo.
Take this magnet home with you to remind you of the wonderful experience of meeting the beloved statue that likes to be touched.
The magnet measures approximately 3.5 x 2 inches.
