This hand-painted floral miniature tile on black onyx glows with finely painted detail. It is accented with hand-painted enameled flowers and leaves and embellished with Peridot and Carnelian stones, all bezel set in sterling silver. This piece can be worn a pin or as a removable pendant on chains, beads, etc.
This one of a kind pin/pendant was created by Amy Kahn Russell, a forerunner in a naturalistic trend in jewelry. A fine arts graduate of Tulane, her designs have been inspired by motifs and cultures she encountered while travelling abroad. Although Amy now resides in the United States, she incorporates unusual artifacts and stones collected worldwide into her dramatic jewelry.
