This golden hand-painted Klimt Kiss miniature on black onyx glows with finely painted detail. It is accented with gold foil under quartz and black onyx stones that have all been bezel set in sterling silver. This piece can be worn a pin or as a removable pendant on chains, beads, etc.
This one of a kind pin/pendant was created by Amy Kahn Russell, a forerunner in a naturalistic trend in jewelry. A fine arts graduate of Tulane, her designs have been inspired by motifs and cultures she encountered while travelling abroad. Although Amy now resides in the United States, she incorporates unusual artifacts and stones collected worldwide into her dramatic jewelry.
