Description

French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840–1926) painted Impression, Sunrise in 1872. It depicts the port of Le Havre, Monet's hometown. It was first shown at what would become known as the "Exhibition of the Impressionists" in Paris in April, 1874. The painting is credited with inspiring the name of the Impressionist movement.

This pocket-size hand-cranked music box, housed in a cardboard box whose top features a reproduction of Monet’s Impression, Sunrise, plays Beethoven’s "For Elise".
