This unique Frog pendant/brooch was inspired by Pre-Columbian artifacts from the collections of the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library.
The Muisca were an indigenous people of Colombia renowned for their goldworking. Frogs and toads had spiritual significance for them. Featuring a timeless design, this pendant and brooch combines a classic look with a modern aesthetic.
Can be worn either as a brooch or pendant. There is a vertical brooch backing and a loop on the back so it can be worn as a pendant. (Chain is not included.)
