This deceptively simple little bee was a bit of a perplexing design. Nawal Motawi spent many hours getting these bees' wings and stripes to merge with the border just right. I think you'll agree, it was worth it!

Polychrome tiles have many colors separated by a tiny ridge of clay and are made by pooling the glazes with bulb syringes into the areas delineated by the tiny ridges of clay.
On the back you will find the Motawi Tileworks stamp and the signature of the tilemaker.

Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch at the back for hanging.
