Marc Chagall (1887—1985) was an early modernist and distinguished Jewish artist that was unafraid of adventuring into all mediums available to him, from stained glass to fine art prints. Using vibrant colors and all that the golden age of modernism had to offer, Chagall created works of art that portrayed a longing for his childhood home.
