Description

This is the untold story of Clara Driscoll, the creative mind behind the famous Tiffany lamps. Inspired by her childhood gardens, Clara designed stained glass for Louis C. Tiffany and led a team of women known as the Tiffany Girls.

Wanting to bring her designs to life in new ways, she figured out how to bend and shape glass into lamps that glowed like blooming flowers. Though Tiffany lamps became world-famous, Clara’s role was nearly forgotten.

The book includes extra details about her life, letters, and design process, along with sources for further reading.
