During the late Middle Ages as armored protection for knights became more effective, their mounts became targets. In response to this vulnerability, barding (or horse armor) was created, consisting mainly of plate armor and hardened leather. Perfect for history buffs, this metal model is assembled from two metal sheets.
Parts can be can be easily clipped from the metal sheets. Tweezers are the recommended tool for bending and twisting the connection tabs to join the parts together. No glue is required.
