The Frank Lloyd Wright Saguaro and Cactus Form Boxed Pen features Wright's colorful and iconic geometric design. "Saguaro" is one of a number of Liberty Magazine cover designs from 1926-27 that the editors thought to be too "radical" and never used. In 1973 there was a fire in the Arizona Biltmore and this graphic was selected from the Frank Lloyd Wright Archive to be rendered in stained glass in the reconstructed foyer just inside the front entry. Entitled "Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers" it was a gift from his widow in 1973.
This colorful patterned ballpoint pen is packaged in an elegant foil-stamped hinged-box, so it makes a beautiful gift.
