Description

Inspired by the harvest detail from the East Wall of Diego Rivera's famous fresco cycle "Detroit Industry", this luxurious silk scarf makes a memorable gift.

Conceived by Rivera (1886–1957) as a tribute to the city's manufacturing base and labor force of the 1930s, the twenty-seven panel work took nine months to complete. The work was done from July 1932 to March 1933. It is considered the finest example of Mexican mural art in the United States, and the artist thought it the best work of his career.

This gorgeous silk scarf can be worn to add interest and glamor to your daytime ensemble and is also a perfect accessory for any festive occasion. The scarf's palette compliments denim, crisp whites or any color found in the mural: orange, cream, rust, purple, green or dark blue!

Hemmed on four sides with impeccable attention to detail. Soft to the touch and a pleasure to wear. Easily worn in all seasons.

100% Silk.

Dry Clean Only.

Measures 70" L x 27" W.
