A DIA Exclusive!

This walnut framed reproduction of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera's Woman Holding Fruit, 1932, charcoal and pigment on off-white wove paper, is part of the permanent collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts.

A larger version of this image appears in the upper right register of the East Wall of the Detroit Industry Murals which Rivera (1886–1957) created as a tribute to the Detroit's manufacturing base and labor force of the 1930s. Rivera completed the twenty-seven panel work in eleven months, from April 1932 to March 1933. It is considered the finest example of Mexican mural art in the United States, and the artist thought it the best work of his career.

These reproductions are of the highest quality and worthy of museum masterpieces such as this one.
