In response to the rising demand for high-quality face coverings, as recommended by the CDC, the DIA has created well-designed, comfortable, art-inspired masks. This one features Willard Leroy Metcalf's The White Veil.
Guidelines state that reusable masks should be washed after each use. We suggest that you stock your drawer with a few masks so that you have several at the ready.
How to Adjust Your Mask: First, create ruching on the side seams by sliding the fabric along the string, gathering it tightly. Next, fit the mask over your face with the nose piece formed around your nose and ear loops behind your ears. Finally, slide the rubber toggles for a custom fit so that the mask is snug but not tight across your face. The toggle can be positioned anywhere along the loop so that it is in a comfortable place (for example not behind your ear, or under the arm of your glasses). Remember to pull the excess fabric down under your chin and play with the 'ruching', so that any gaps are smoothed out and allowing the mask to sit close against your face.
Care: Hand wash/ air dry. Or, machine wash, warm, tumble dry low. (Mesh bag for delicate clothing is recommended when machine washing).
