The famed Tree of Life art glass pattern is found in several variations in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin D. Martin House, Buffalo, New York (1904). The four-pot variation is found on the central landing of the Martin House stairway. This unique window has a commanding presence when viewed from either the first floor entry hall, or the second floor hallway. A series of stylized trees wrap around the perimeter of the Martin House second floor.
Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is recognized world-wide as one of the greatest architects of the twentieth century.
