Designed by Peggy Raphael Dabar in Lebanon, this trivet was inspired by the floor of the Mediterranean residences of the 1930s and 1940s.
Covered with ceramic tiles of various patterns, floors of terrazzo tiles were unrivaled for their colors and designs. Juxtaposed, they created a gigantic picture, thus their nickname ‘Sejjadeh’ or carpet.
Made from silicone, the heat-resistant trivet withstands temperatures up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit.
Makes a great gift for a host or hostess or anyone with an eye for design.
Care instructions: wipe with a damp cloth or wash in warm soapy water.
