This embroidered iron-on patch features the iconic "We Can Do It!" war poster created by the Office for Emergency Management, War Production Board, 1942-1943.
In order to recruit women to work in factories as all the men were leaving to fight in WWII, the US Government decided to launch a propaganda campaign to sell the importance of the war effort and to lure women into working. They promoted the fictional character of "Rosie the Riveter" as the ideal woman worker: loyal, efficient, patriotic, and pretty.
This is a quality made patch, and features a special adhesive on the backside so you can iron it on to clothing, denim jackets, backpacks, and more!
Show your “We Can Do It!” spirit when wear this patch on your clothing, bags, backpacks, jeans, luggage and more. It also makes your belongings easier to identify and claim as your own.
If applying the patch to an oddly shaped item - we recommend sewing.
Measures 2.25" x 3".
