These African lidded storage baskets bring beautiful artisan craftsmanship into our living spaces. These storage baskets are hand woven from grass and colorful recycled plastic ribbons by an association of more than 100 rural Wolof women in the West African nation of Senegal. Through a project that started as a collaboration with the Peace Corps, rural Wolof women are uplifting their communities through export partnership.
These storage baskets are great for storing toys or for throw blankets as well as dirty laundry. The cut out handles makes them easy to move.
Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly.
