Description

The Pine Cone Vase features intricately carved pine cones and needles around its distinctive rim.

Representing wisdom and longevity, the pine cone image has long been a symbol throughout many cultures and was used widely during the Arts and Crafts era. Pine cone fireplace tiles were installed in a private home on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit in 1907 by Pewabic Pottery founder, Mary Stratton. Pewabic Pottery is a century-old American pottery located in Detroit, Michigan.

Slip cast and glazed by Pewabic artisans, the Pine Cone vase is available in Pewabic's signature Arts and Crafts era glazes.
