This English hand-finished silk tie is based upon the processional frieze depicting over 150 figures or "heroes" from Scotland's past that adorns the entrance hall of the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland. The frieze was painted in 1898 by English artist William Hole (1846 - 1917).
The look is contemporary and formal but not stuffy, making it appropriate for festive occasions or important Zoom meetings!
