A DIA Exclusive!
This wonderful pillow was created through a partnership between the Detroit Institute of Arts and local artists for the Humble and Human: Impressionist Era exhibition which runs from June 26, 2019 to October 13, 2019.
The front of this rectangular pillow was inspired by Jockeys on Horseback before Distant Hills (Riders Before Hilly Country), 1884, by Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917). The original oil on canvas work is part of the permanent collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts.
The back of the pillow is white and has a sturdy chrome zipper to easily access the included pillow insert.
Both the outer fabric of the pillow and its insert are made of 100% polyester which has a soft subtle sheen.
The filling of the insert is also 100% polyester.
Measures 18" x 12" x 4".
Take home a wonderful memento of the Humble and Human exhibition.
