Treat yourself or a friend to a fine art coloring book. Perfect for adults and teens to relax and relieve stress!
Have you ever looked at great art and thought it could be improved? Here is your chance. This fine art coloring book presents twenty-five line drawings from One Hundred Views of Mt. Fuji by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) for you to color. Hokusai was already in his mid-70s when he completed work on the first volume of this illustrated book, which highlights the beauty and spirituality of Japan’s venerated mountain. The black-and-white illustrations start with the mountain itself, followed by prints where Fuji is the center focus or a small backdrop in a scene featuring people walking, fishing, or simply communing.
Reproductions of Hoksuai’s prints are shown in miniature in full color on the inside front and back covers, so that you can follow his color palette, if you wish.
