Charley Harper’s playful portrayals of wild and domestic creatures have long delighted art and animal lovers alike. Harper (American, 1922–2007) expressed the essence of each critter, from songbirds to zoo babies to rascally raccoons, with his distinctive use of simple shapes and patterns in vivid colors. Many of his paintings and posters have been published by nature- and conservation-oriented organizations.
This calendar has twelve monthly grids with full-color artwork by Harper. Each monthly grid has the previous and next month views and observes major public and culturally significant international holidays and lunar phases. Weeks run from Sunday to Saturday.
This calendar was printed using soy-based inks on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
