This stunning David Wright wool rug, inspired by the iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright, marries form and function bringing comfort to your home in cool mid-century modern style.
This design is adapted from a carpet at the home that Wright designed for his son, David Wright, in Phoenix, AZ, 1954. Wright's apprentice, Ling Po, reworked the design from one of a series of twelve illustrations that Wright created in 1927 for the cover of Liberty Magazine. For this design, "March Balloons,” Wright used one of his favorite geometric shapes, the circle, to create an assemblage of colorful, overlapping balloons.
Whether as a gift for an architect, for a true architecture aficionado, or of course for yourself, this hand-tufted wool rug is a perfect choice for your home.
