With his commission to paint four walls of an open courtyard at the Detroit Institute of Arts courtyard, known today as Rivera Court, Mexican artist Diego Rivera (1886-1957) created what he considered his finest paintings. Produced over eleven months during 1932 and 1933, they are the largest and most complex work of the Mexican muralist movement in America.
This poster depicts the entire South Wall of the Detroit Industry murals.
