Ceramic coaster featuring a detail from Vincent van Gogh's Bank of the Oise at Auvers, in the collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts.
In July 1890, Van Gogh painted this colorful scene of boats for hire on the River Oise in Auvers, near Paris, France. A woman is seated in one boat and a man and woman are standing on the shore, Dense green trees and shrubs along the riverbank provide a lush backdrop for this depiction of working-class locals seeking pleasure during their only free weekend day.
Each coaster has a fade resistant matte finish image and a cork backing to protect your furniture.
