"The Lost Warhol" silk scarf collection began with a photography session of the famous pop artist Andy Warhol by an NYU film student, Karen Bystedt, in 1982.
The negatives, placed in storage for thirty years, were subsequently lost, with only 10 found in 2011. These are "The Lost Warhols". Karen conceptualized incorporating Andy as the artwork, working with prominent contemporary artists on mixed collaborations with the photographs serving as beautiful canvases.
